FERMI 2 - SAFETY EVALUATION CONCERNING THE CONTROL CENTER HEATING, VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING (CCHVAC) SYSTEM (TAC NO. M94606)
Dear Mr. Gipson:
The NRC has completed its review of concerns related to the CCHVAC system at the Fermi 2 facility. The staff reviewed Detroit Edison's submittals dated September 13,1996, and November 8,1996, that contained your response to NRC requests for additional Information. The staff finds the structural qualification documentation prepared by Detroit Edison for the Fermi 2 CCHVAC system to be reasonable and acceptable, and in accordance with the commitments in the updated final safety analysis report and the revised CCHVAC design criteria that were discussed with the staff.
