McGuire Nuclear Station - Unit 2 I Docket No. 50-370 Inservice Inspection Summary Report for Class MC l Component Examinations Conducted During Refueling Outage.EOCl2 Duke Energy Corporation submits the attached ISI Summary Report for ASME Class MC Inservice Inspections conducted during refueling outage EOC12. This submittal is made pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55a (b) (2) (x) .

Article IWA-6000 of Section XI of the ASME Code requires an ISI l Summary Report to be completed only for Class 1 and 2 l components. An ISI Summary Report is not required by the ASME  ;

l Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section XI, for Class MC i components. However, because 10 CFR 50.55a (b) (2) (x) requires specific information regarding Class MC examinations I I

to be included in the Summary Report, a Class MC ISI Summary l Report has been prepared, but includes only that information required by 10 CFR 50.55a. This report is submitted outside the scheduling requirements of Article IWA-6000 of the Section XI AWME Code. A corrective action program report (PIP M99-3481) was issued to avoid a similar error in the future.
