PLAN - REVISION 27 - ADDENDUM The Westinghouse Electric Corporation hereby submits an addendum to the May 23, 1997 request for changes to the FNMC Plan for the Commercial Nuclear Fuel Division's (CNFD) Fuel Manufacturing Plant located near Columbia, South Carolina. The attachment to this letter provides explanation of the addendum incorporated within the revised FNMC Plan (pages submitted as enclosures).

In accordance with the thlephone discussion with your Mr. Thomas Pham, on August 14,1997, additional changes have been made to the event investigation timetables on pages 2,18,2.19, and
- 2.20 of the Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) Fundamental Nuclear Material Control-(FNMC) Plan. Also,' a minor editorial change was made on page 3.13.
In addition, typographical errors have been corrected on pages xvil,2.16, 9.1, and 9.2.
