Dear Mr. MacDonald:
This is in response to your letter dated April 4,1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, a listing of chemists at nuclear power plants.
The NRC does not maintain a list of chemists at nuclear power plants. However, I have been informed by the staff that each plant's Final Safety Analysis Report contains resumes for all of the utility's principle staff, which includes a chemist. These reports, which are voluminous, are routinely placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR), 1717 H Street,'NW, Washington, DC 20555, where they are available for public inspection and copying. We are enclosing a notice that provides information about charges and procedures for obtaining records from the PDR.
