This is in response to your letter dated April 16, 1986, in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, the location of the low-level waste sites in New York and Maine.
There are no operating low-level waste sites in New York and Maine.
For your information, there are three operating low-level waste sites in the U.S.
They are located in Nevada, South Carolina and Washington.
