Your Quality Assurance Program A) proval No. 0808 is hereby te.'minated. The-Nuclear Regulatory Commission pu)lished a final rule, effective June 27, 1997, revising the requirements of 10 CFR Part 34 " Licenses for Industrial Radiograph and Radiation Safety Requirements for Industrial Radiographic Operations." The revision, which contained numerous changes in the requirements. also modified-the quality assurance (0A) requirements for transnortation-As a result of these changes, a separate NRC QA program 4

Specifically transportation activities are now contained in-a new paragraph.
10 CFR'71.101(g). This provision was added to the regulations and requires that ins devices.pection_and maintenance)rograms limited to radiographic exposure-
