Your 0uality Assurance Program A) proval No. 0171 is hereby terminated.. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission ~pu)lished a final rule. effective June 27-1997, revising the requirerents:of 10 CFR Part 34. " Licenses for-Industrial -

Radiography and Radiation Safety Requirements.for Industrial Radiogra Operations." The revision,-which contained numerous changes-in the phic requirementsialso modified:the quality assurance (0A) requirements. for-E_

transportation.1 As a result of these changes, a separate NRC_0A program L

approval is no longer needed.-
