4.1 RACMGROUND LE\\T.LS i

Direct readings ibt beta / gamma background for interior and exterior areas vary based on the material bains surveyed. The bets /panum beckyound levels in opm along with their associated codes are listed in Table E 1. These reptesent ten one minute readings for each nutorial taken with a lucDum model 2221 scaler /ratemeter with a 4348,100cm* window, gas proportional detector.
