The purpose of this modification is to (1) revise the contract Statement of Work to add under Project II, a task for the developaient of a " fact finding" report representing the current understanding within the United States of the Chernobyl (RBMK) reactor design, (2) provide additional funds, and (3) change the contract provisional overhead rate, Nou, therefore, the following changes are hereby made:

- 1. The contractor's proposal dated July 31, 1985 for additional work required under Project II of the Statement of Work is hereby accepted and made a part of the ,
contract.

- 2. Section G.1 Consideration, Paragraph Nos.1 and 2 are revised to read as follows:
"1. It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for full performance of this contract will be $256,459.00, of which the sum of $235,319.00 represents the estimated costs and of which $21,140.00 represents the fixed fee.
- 2. Total funds currently available for payment and allotted to this contract are $256,459.00, of which $235,319.00 represents the esti-mated reimbursable costs .and of which $21,140.00 represents the fixed fee."
- 3. Section G.2 Overhead / General and Administrative Rates, Paragraph A is revised by changing the provisional overhead rate from "81.23" percent to "90" percent of direct labor.
