MODIFICATION NO. 1 TO TASK ORDER NO. 28 ENTITLED ' TECHNICAL BASIS FOR LICENSE RENEWALS" UNDER CONTRACT NO. NRC-03-95-003

The uraose of this modification is to: (1) revise the deliverable schedule,
}
for Tasts 1 and 2B, (2) extend the expiration date of the subject task order from " December 31. 1997" to " January 31, 1998" at no additional cost 'or obligation to the Government, and (3) 3rovide incremental funding in the amount of $8,000, thereby increasing t1e obligated amount from 5100,000 to
$108,000.
f An extension to the previously scheduled delivery dates for a draft report required under Tasks 1 and 2B, and an extension to the expiration date of the sub3cct task order are necessitated due to the contractor's inability to meet the established completion of work timeframes due to the tasi order not effective until approximately one month after the anticipated start.date.
Under Section 8.0 entitled " DELIVERABLES / SCHEDULE AND/0R MILESTONES." of the Statement of Work to the subject task order, revise the delivery dates for the submittal of draft reports for Task 1 from "May 31, 1997" to " July 31, 1997" and for Task 2B from " December 31, 1997" to " January 31. 1998."
In accordance with Section G.4(c) of the subject contract erititled " Task Order Award." this letter definitizes Modification No. I to the subject task order.
The second pa'. graph, first sentence of the definitization letter for the basic task oruer is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
"The period of performance for Task Order No. 28 is from April 28, 1997 through January 31, 1998."
