EXENPPION 'ID 15-DAY WAITING PERIOD XUO8627 (AMENDMENT 02)

Transnuclear, Inc. holds export license XUO8627 for the export of 268,452 kilograms of natural uranium to Eurodif, Tricastin, France. The material is packaged and ready for shipnent, but the quantity exceeds by about 525 kilograms the amount authorized on the license. The licensee requests an urgent revision to the license to permit shipnent as scheduled on or about February 13. In order to permit the shipnent of the material on schedule, amendment 02 to XUO8627 is issued pursuant to a waiver of the 15-day waiting period, as permitted under 10 CFR 110.10.
