20555 Dear Gentlemen This letter and attachments supersedes those previously submitted controlled copies of page changes to Books 1 and 2 of the Emergency Procedures Document for Indian Point Unit Nos. 1 and 2 dated December 18, 1986 and January 2, 1987, respectively. The purpose of this letter is to rectify inadvertent oversights in the two abovementioned submittals with respect to correctly identifying privacy and proprietary material in emergency plan revision submittals.

This letter and attachments do not contain any additional changes to the abovementioned submittals, are not being submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(q) and represent only a straight replacement of controlled copy pages.

Please note that this letter and attachments are being submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(5) and differ in number of copies submitted from the abovementioned submittals.

As recommended in Generic Letter 81-27,

entitled,

" Privacy and Proprietary Materials in Emergency Plans",

the following pages, as marked, are designated as proprietary:
