Dear Administrative Judges:
As a resident of flassau Cou$ty I am intensely interested in the Shoreham plant. I understand that your Board intends to conduct hear-ing on Long Island regarding LILLO's plan and the February 13, ;986, exercise.
I am writing because I want to have an opportunity to inform the Board of my views about the LILCO plan and the exercise. I wanted t.o do this in February, right after the exercise, which I observed butFEMA, contrary to its practice at other plants, refused to hold arch a public meeting.
I understand that this Doard has agreed to hold sessions for the receipt of " limited appearance" statments but that dates have not yet been set. The dates should be set and the cessions should not be de-layed.
I and other Long Island residents have important data to pre-sent.
It has been suggested that at least one limited appearan::e session should be held in flassau County. ? The great public interest in this matter demnds no less.
I look forward to hearing as soon as possible about when and where the sessions will be held.
