Dear Mr. Pellet,
A Certification of Medical Examination is attached for one Licensed Operator for the South Texas Project. The submittal is to notify the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of changes in licensed operator physical or mental condition, as determined by our physician, that cause the operator to fail to meet the medical requirements of Part 55," Operators' Licenses", of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10CFR Part 55). We have attached an update which removes all medical restrictions related to hypertension.
The attachment to this letter contains personal information; therefore, Houston Lighting and Power requests that the attachment be removed pursuant to 10CFR2.790(a)(6) prior to this letter being placed in the Public Document Room.
