Dear Mr. Strand:

This letter is to confirm our recent telephone conversation regarding a visit by officials from the French nuclear regulatory authority, Autorite de Surete

-Nucleaire (DSIN), to your facility on Thursday, September 11, If37.

Messrs.

Olivier Brigaud. Deputy Director of the Laboratories and Industrial Plants, and Jacques Rabouhams Senior Executive, International Relations, will be arriving at your facility at approximtely 10:30 AM for a tour that I understand will last ap3roximately 2 hours2.314815e-5 days <br />5.555556e-4 hours <br />3.306878e-6 weeks <br />7.61e-7 months <br />.

They will be accompanied by Michael Mobley, Debra Slults, and possibly Joelle Key of the Division of Radiological Health, State'of Tennessee, and Margaret Federline from NRC.

The visitors will be touring the Manufacturing Sciences Corporation facility in the afternoon, and the DOE facility on Friday September 12, 1997.

I provided the informat'on you-requested for the visitors in a fax to Alison Everett of MMT on Augusc 19, 1997.

We appreciate your taking time =from your busy schedule to acccmpany these guests and to share with them your knowledge and experience in nuclear waste processing.
