i Management and URF0, we agreed to review approximately)10 percent of the routine Radiological and Engineering Assessments (REAs submitted to NRC.

I The routine REAs are submitted to NRC for informational purposes only, per Appendix A, Section 3.1.3 of the DOE /NRC Memorandum of Understanding signed on July 16, 1986. Since the REAs were submitted, URF0 agreed to review approximately 10 percent as a quality assurance check to ensure that none of the REAs' approved option proposed application of supplemental standards to a portion of the vicinity property.

The following table indicates that number of routine REAs submitted and reviewed during the period from June 1 through September 18, 1986:
