FINAL COMPLETION REVIEW REPORT FUR THE URANIUM MILL TAILINGS REMEDIAL i ACTION PROJECT DISPOSAL SITE AT CLIVE, UTAH
Dear Mr. Rael:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission staff 'has completed its ' review of the U.S. -
- Department of Energy's (DOE's) Final Completion Report and associated documents for the Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action Project disposal site at Clive. Utah.
These documents include final Completion Report pages transmitted on April 5,1996,
- and May 5, 1997.
The NRC staff's review is documented in the enclosed (Enclosure 1) final Completion Rtview Report (CRR). The CRR discusses the staff's evaluation of DOE's completed rehedial action _ against the previousl/ approved plans and specifications. Based on its review of the Completion Report, NRC staff concurs that DOE has performed remecial action at the Clive site in accordance with the approved plans and specii'ications. .
