- Emeroency Preparedness Exercise in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section IV.F.2, Boston Edison Company plans to conduct a full participation Emergency Preparedness Exercise with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on November 5,1997.
Two copies of the proposed scope and objectives for this exercise are attached for your review.- Also included for your review is the proposed schedule for activities surrounding the exercise.-
The objectives include demonstration, where appropriate, of corrective actions taken in regard to areas that warrant attention previously identified during NRC inspections,
- emergency exercises, and drills;- The scope and objectives are submitted in accordance with FEMA's Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) Exercise Manual, FEMA-REP-14, dated September 1991.
