. The purpose of this modification is to (1) increase the ceiling of the contract by $119,999.00 from $2,738,690.91 to $2,858,689.91 to accommodate a within-scope change for development j

) of an error tracking system for the consolidated TRACM code, to separate core power

! calculations from other calculations for the ROD component _of TRACM, and to provide assistance for developing input decks in accordance with the contract statement of work, as modified by the attached, and the Contractor's technical proposal dated July 15,1999, hereby incorporated (2) provide incremental funding in the amount of $120,000.00, and (3) provide clarification regarding the incorporation of the Contractor's Consolidation Plan for TRACM.

Accordingly, the contract is modified as follows:

Under Section B.3, " Consideration and Obligation - Cost Plus Fixed Fee," paragraphs a, e, and f are deleted in their entirety and replaced with the following in lieu thereof:

"a. ' The total estimated cost to the Government for full performance of this contract is

$2,858,689.91 of which the sum of $2,667,067.90 represents the estimated reimbursable costs and of which $191,622.01 represents the fixed fee.

e. The amount presently obligated by the Govemment with respect to this contract is $2,856,488.00,

f. It is estimated that the amount currently allotted will cover performance through October 1,1999."

Under Section C, Task 58, the Contractor's Consolidation Plan, previously incorporated into this

! contract through Modification No. 9, is identified for clarity as Attachment 1 to the statement of wo&. Also, an addendum is hereby recognized to address changes to the Consolidation Plan, l including those within scope changes being made through this modification, and is added as l Attachment 2 to the statement of work. Task 5B is hereby revised to add the following:

" Consolidation Plan The Consolidation Plan prepared by the Contractor in response to this task has been accepted by the NRC, and incorporated into the contract. It is hereby identified as  ;

Attachment 1 to the statement of work under the Task 5B effort. Changes to the effort in j the Consolidation Plan will be noted in an addendum to the Consolidation Plan hereby added as Attachment 2 to the statement of work under Task 5B.

This addendum contains all changes to the Consolidation Plan effort incorporated through NRC contract modification.

1 Task 2 - Software Development l

l Contract Modification No.16:

Develop an error tracking system for the TRACM code.

Deliver the software and documentation for the tracking system by 10/01/99.

Task 5 - Components Contract Modification No.16:

Separate core power calculations from other calculations for the ROD component. The separation of power calculations from other calculations for the ROD component should be done to provide a capability of coupling thermal-hydraulic calculations with external multidimensional

kinetics models. This effort is to be completed by 10/01/99.

Contract Modification No.16:

Provide 1 staff-month of assistance to the NRC for developing input decks and running the new TRACM code.
