. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC) continuity of operations and contingency planning in i response to the Year 2000 (Y2K) problem. Information on the NRC's continuity of operations and contingency planning in response to the Y2K problem was provided to you in a letter from former Chairman Jackson dated May 4,1999. That letter also transmitted a copy of the draft NRC Y2K contingency plan and committed to provide a copy of the final Y2K contingency plan once it was reviewed by the Commission. The final NRC Y2K contingency plan, which has been reviewed by the Commission, is enclosed. Additionalinformation on NRC's Y2K contingency planning program can be found on the NRC Y2K contingency plan web site. The NRC web address is www.nrc. gov.
