SECY-86-103 - Request for Hearing on Amendments to Source Materials Licenses The Commission, by a 5-0 vote, approved an order responding to a request for a hearing on orders issued by the Director of the NRC's Uranium Recovery Field Office related to required imple-mentation of a ground-water monitoring program to ensure compli-ance with 40 CFR 192.32 (a) (2).

The order directs the millers to submit a brief to the Commission on a number of legal issues set forth in the order within 30 days and provides an additional 30 days for the Environmental Defense Fund to respond.

(Subsequently, on April 18, 1986, the' Secretary signed the Order.)
