DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Annual Radioactive Effluent and Waste Disposal Reoort for Januarv through December 1996 In accordance with the Prairie Island Technical Specifications, Appendix A to Operating License DPR-42 and DPR-60, we are submitting one copy of the Radioactive Effluent and Waste Disposal Annual Report covering 1996.
This report is being submitted as a revision to the entire report submitted May 8,1997.
Only the effected sect!ons of the report are included in this submittal, with the changes indicated by sidebars, Surxnary of Rsvisions:
1)
The loss of two composite analysis samples required by ODCM Table 2.1 were not included as required by the ODCM.
2)
The GFLLI wau reported incorrectly as the organ receiving the highest dose from liquhl releases in the Off-Site Dose Assessment instead of the LIVER.

The Volume of Dilution Water (Item 17.0) for quarter #4 should have been 2.01E+11 liters rather than the 1.99E+11 liters reported on the Annual Effluent Release Report. This minor error caused minor corrections to quarter 4 foritems 18.2,19.2,20.2, and 22.0.
4)
The Critical Organ Dose (Item 24.1) for all four quarters was reported incorrectly due to a typographical error.
