Dear Mrs. Bennington:
This letter is to confirm our phone conversation of April 5,1999 wherein Transnuclear, Inc. requested to USNRC the following time to be reserved for one Category II shipment ofhigh enriched uranium:
j May 19-June 6,1999 The shipment will consist of one Babcock and Wilcox Model No. NNFD SX22 drum containing less than 5 kgs U235. The shipment will originate at USDOE, Oak Ridge, TN. The ultimate destination of the shipment will be Atomic Energy of Canada, Limited, Chalk River, Ontario, Canada. ';be shipment will be transported via truck directly from Oak Ridge to Ontario, Canada.
This letter serves as our written notification for the time stated above which has already been reserved for Transnuclear by the NRC in our above referenced telephone conversation.
