OMB REVIEW OF ACTIONS COVERED BY THE SMALL BUSINESS REGULATORY ENFORCEMENT FAIRNESS ACT (SBREFA)

The Rules and Directives Branch (RDB) is responsible for coordinating OMB review of NRC final actions as required by the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act (SBREFA).

To ensure compliance with its provisions, the Rules and Directives Branch will review all submittals prepared by the individual offices prior to their submission to OMB, as required l by the SBREPA.

Please prepare a summary description of each final action subject j

to the SBREFA for which your office is responsible that--your office anticipates issu.ing within 90 days from the date of this memorandum. Please forward this summary by close of business on the last day of the month in both electronic (Wordperfect disketto) and paper form (Mail Stop: T-6-D59). Only those items not previously included in a prior submittal should be included.

Items received after August 1, 1997, will not be submitted until September.
