The purpose of this modification is to (1) adjust the provisional general and administrative rates and (2) incornorate new Federal Travel Regulation rates. Accordingly, make the following changes:
- 1. Section G.2, Overhead / General and Ad tinistrative P.ates, Paragraph B. is hereby modified to read as follows: .

Conteact []. IWtC-02-85-008 Modification No. 2 y Page 2 allowable indirect costs hereunder a. the provisional rate of 69.52 percent of total direct costs and overhead, effective September 25, 1985.
- 2. Under Section G - Contract Administration Data, Subsection G.6, Travel Reimbursement:
- a. Under paragraph 1., change the amount of "$23.00" referred to in the second sentence to read "$25.00."
- b. Delete paragraph 2. in its entirety and substitute the following in lieu thereof:
"2. When travel is to one of the following localitie:, the following maximum per dien rates shall apply. The maximun per dier rates include a maximum amount for lodging expense: plus a fixed allowance for meals and incidental expenses (M&IE) related to subsistence.

- 1. With lodging. When lodging is required on the day travel begins, the per dier allowable shall be the actual cost of lodging incurred, lir.ited to the maximum applicable lodging allowance, plus one-half of the epplicable M&IE rate.
- 2. Without lodging. When lodging is not required on the day travel begins, the per diem allowable shall. be one-half the standard CONUS M&IE rate of
$25.00.
- b. Day of Return For the day travel ends, the per dien allowance shall be one-half the M&IE rate applicable to the preceding calendar day.
- c. Paragraph 6. is modified to read as follows:
"6. Receipts are required for comon carrier transportation and all lodging."
- d. Paragraph 7. is modified to read as follows:
"7. The rates provided are effective for travel perfonned on or after July 1,1986, and shall remain in effect until such time as further changes are made to the Federal Travel Regulations. Such changes shall become effective as of the issuance date and shall not require further modification to the contract."
