NRC INSPECTION REPORT 70-1151/99-201
Dear Mr. Allen:
This refers to the chemical safety inspection conducted from June 28 through July 2,1999, at the Westinghouse Commercial Nuclear Fuel Division. The purpose of the inspection was to determine the effectiveness of the facility's chemical safety program. At the conclusion of the inspection, the results were discussed with members of your staff.
Areas reviewed during the inspection are identified in the enclosed report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of facility walk throughs, selective examinations of procedures and records, interviews with personnel, and observations. Based on the results of this inspection, no violations of NRC requirements were identified.
In accordance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) " Rules of Practices," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the appropriate NRC Public Document Room.
