NRC ACCEPTANCE OF GE NUCLEAR ENERGY ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE
Dear Mr. Sick:
We have completed our review o' your letter dated March 10,1999, regarding the l
reorganization of GE Nuclear Energy (GENE) and its impact on GENE's Licensing Topical l
Report NEDO-11209-04A, Revision 8.
As reported in your letter, GE Support Services (GESS) will provide support services to GENE l
for selected safety-related, commercial grade, and non-safety products. GESS will operate under GENE's quality program in conformance with Appendix B to Title 10 of the Code of l
Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Part 50, and retain commitments contained in GENE's Topica:
Report and applicable industry requirements. GENE will continue to perform all application engineering functions, customer quality and interface.
We find no immediate concerns regarding this organizational change impacting the requirements of 10CFR Part 50 Appendix B.
