SUMMARY

Of_ OPERATING EXPERIENCES At tha.beginning of the month.the plant was~at 97.3 percent.

The turbine

. driven main f eed pump was out of service due.to a f ailed recirculating

. valve' controller.

On 4 Dec., power was reduced'to.80 percent due to a misaligned CEA.

While at reduced power, turbine valve testing and excess flow check valve testing were performed.

On'5-Dec., power was returned to 97.3 percent.

On 24 Dec., power was reduced to 86 percent to repair an EHC leak on the #1 govcenor valve.

Power was returned to 97.3 percent later that day.

On 28 Dec., power was reduced to 80 percent to backwash debris from the wctcrboxes.

Jn 29 Dec., power was returned'to'97.3 percent.

On 31 Dec., power was reduced to 83.7 percent to backwash debris from the watcrboxes.

At 2400, power was at 94 percent and increasing.
