Dear Dr. Brown:
Security Plan B, for the Lynchburg Research Center, specifies the physical protection provided for our hot cell facility when irradiated commercial fuel assemblies are on site. The attached plan is a com-plete revision of Plan B.
This new plan addresses the comments made by members of your staff to our draft plan which was submitted informally for comment.
I request your review and approval of this plan for use at the Lynchburg Research Center for our next irradiated fuel assembly examination which is presently scheduled for mid-September.
The information presented in the attachment to this letter is of a type I
i described in 10 CFR 2.790(d) and should be disclosed only pursuant to l
the provisions in 10 CFR 9.12.
