Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-412 10CFR50.55(f) Evaluations of PSAR QA Program Organizational Changes Gentlemen.
The purpose of this letter is to provide the attached six 10CFR50.55(f) evaluations of organizational changes to the Quality Assurance Program descrip-tion (Section 17, BVPS-2 PSAR).
As described in these evaluations, the changes will aid the Duquesne Light Nuclear Group as the Beaver Valley Unit No. 2 project evolves from con-struction to startup and will provide the organizational freedom necessary for the QA Program to be implemented in accordance with tha requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix B.
These changes do not reduce the commitments in the program description previously accepted by the NRC.

1.3 Reason for the Change These organizational changes will aid the Duquesne Light Nuclear Group as the Beaver Valley No. 2 Unit Project evolves from construction to startup.

BVPS-2 PSAR, Section 17 5.1 Page Affected by the Change 17.1-9 5.2 Identification of the Changes The Duquesne Light Company Project Management Committee is chaired by the Duquesne Light Company-Vice President, Nuclear Group. Members of the com-mittee include appropriate unit heads from the Nuclear Group. Meetings are conducted quarterly or at the specific request of any member, as

necessary.
5.3 Reason for the Changes Due to the company reorganization, the Nuclear Group Vice President has responsibility for both BVPS #1 and BVPS #2 as do the Nuclear Group Unit Managers. Various other meetings are being held as Unit #1 personnel are becoming more involved in Unit #2.
