SUBJECT:
SACRAMENTO MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT'S REPORT, " REVIEW OF RECENT GEOLOGIC AND SEISM 0 LOGIC INFORMATION PERTINENT TO SEISMIC SAFETY"
Dear Mr. Stolz:
By letters dated June 25, 1986 and August 5,1986, you requested additional information to support your review of our report captioned above.
+
We have reassessed our schedule for providing this additional information and believe it can be transmitted by July 1,1987 (instead of November 1987 as indicated to Syd Miner during his Rancho Seco site visit on August 18, 1986).
Our current plan is to have Bechtel complete a preliminary study, within the next 60 days, to determine the scope of field work that will be necessary to assist in preparing our response.
When that study is complete, we will provide you with a refined estimate for submittal of the information.
The July 1,1987 date is based on our current estimate of performing the field work considering normal delays for such things as obtaining site access and weather problems.
We shall keep you apprised of any schedule developments.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Ray Ashley, our Manager of Nuclear Licensing.
Sincere y,
