Dear Sirs:
The enclosed Revision 14 to the Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant MASP is being submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p) and will be implemented upon receipt by controlled copy holders.
This revision was initiated as a result of your letter of January 8, 1987, which addressed your review of Revision 13 to the MASP and identification of items being unacceptable under the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54 (p).
Additional changes found in Revision 14 are noted in the enclosure to this letter, and address temporary security measures during the new security control center construction phase, clarification of Appendix A, and a change to figure 5.1-4.
In accordance with 10 CFR 73.21, it is requested that the subject transmittal be withheld from public disclosure and not placed in the Public Document Room.
This document has been prepared following Corporate procedures which incorporate a reasonable set of controls to insure its accuracy and completeness prior to signature by the undersigned.
