Also enclosed is one (1) signed copy of the Certificate of Service for the proposed Technical Specification Change Request.

The purpose of the change request is to revise the TMI-2 Technical j

Specifications to be consistent with current plant conditions and operations and to provide a transition through the remainder of the cleanup of TMI-2.

This transition to the completion of the cleanup period is provided by the adoption of specific " Facility Modes" and identification of the specific mode (s) applicable to each Technical Specification. The result is a phase out of certain Technical Specifications as the cleanup progresses.

Per the requirements of 10 CFR 170, an application fee of $150.00 is enclosed.
