May 1, 1987 MEMORANDUM AND ORDER The Board has before it Applicants' Motion for Reconsideration of the Board's Memorandum and Order of April 7,1987, filed April 15, 1987 and Attorney General James M. Shannon's Answer to Applicants' Motion for Reconsideration of the Board's Memorandum and Order of April 7,1987, filed April 27, 1987.
The Applicants have correctly interpreted this Board's statement that there is no basis for inquiring as to what level of radiological dose or consequences from assumed dose must be exceeded before plans would be decmed inadequate for a given event. However, we do not find that a response required by our order of April 7,1987 is affected by our pronouncements on dose saving as to certain of the interrogatories.
Accordingly, we affinn our ruling on Interrogatories 28, 116, 117, and 131-132 and require Applicants to respond. However, on examining again e7js0%h $

2 Interrogatories 114-115, we find that the Board had overlooked the worst-case scenario part of the inquiry and agrees ihat Applicants' answers, whatever they might be on worst-case scenarios, would be of no value to this proceeding. We modify our April 7,1987 order to compel responses on Massachusetts' Interrogatories 114-115 and grant Applicants' protective order on these two interrogatories.
