Inquiry No. 87-01 This refers to a telephone inquiry by Mr. Steven Courtemanche of this office with Mr. William Wojciechowski of your staff on April 8,1987. This inquiry concerned activities authorized by License No. SNM-1727, as they relate to the pending need for renewal of your license.
From this discussion, it is our understanding that you plan to terminate your license by submitting the enclosed Certificate of Disposition of Materials with a letter requesting termination to this office prior to April 30, 1987.
If our understandings are incorrect, please inform us in writing.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the Public Document Room.
