Dear Mr. Oszewski:
This letter documents our telephone conversations of March 28, April 2, April 11, and May 6,1986. Also, this letter transmits a new schedule for completion of review of the CYTRAC Computer Code Topical Report.
As we discussed, the review of the Topical Report can be accomplished with a limited scope, for application to only one disposal site. Therefore, your responses to our comments should be directed specifically towards the use of CYTRAC'for disposal of waste at the one disposal site that your current customer uses. This limitation will streamline the review of the CYTRAC Topical Report.
It will also, however, result in approval of the Topical, should approval be granted, limited to disposal of any of your customer's waste at this one burial site.
It is our understanding that this limitation meets your desires. We are prepared to perform this limited review for
'possible limited ' approval, and 'are proceeding in this direction. You should understand that this limited review of the Topical is all that NRC is planning on accomplishing, and unanticipated future events that could require additional review, will meet with considerable delay.' If you are planning on marketing

to our questions are not limited to the one disposal site.
j We have agreed that your responses to our comments will be submitted to the NRC by May 19, 1986. The attached revised schedule of milestones for completion of the CYTRAC Topical review reflects this agreement. While most of the remaining milestones are accomplishments for me, as the NRC Project Manager, to perform, completion and submittal of the final and non-proprietary revisions of the i
CYTRAC Topical, the last milestone, primarfly falls on Cygna for completion.

will be available throughout the remaining period of review for assistance in order for us to be able to complete the review by the date shown for finalizing the CYTRAC Topical.'
