Dear Mr. Zech,
As'a candidate for congress, as a citizen' of New 11ampshire living one town beyond the Seabrook Radiological Emergency Planning Zone, I hereby request that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission change the current ruling, and expand the Emergency Planning Zone from the current 10 mile radius to a 40 mile emergency planning zone.
I strongly urge you and the. commissioners. to resist the pressure of the nuclear industry to reduce'the zone to just two or three miles.
Public safety must be increased, not decreased.
As demonstrated at the.. nuclear ~ accident at Chernobyl,- radiation' travels
