Services /Reauirements Reouested:
- a. Install only the least-cost-commercial touch tone service available.
If touch tone service is not available, install rotary service.
- b. Two different commercial lines are required. One line with two terminations in the Health Physics area designated for NRC's use within the Technical Support Center (TSC), and one line with two terminations in the NRC Health Physics area of the Emergency Operations /Offsite Facility (EOF).

- c. Comercial lines will be restricted to dialing area codes 202 and 301, at no additional cost, where available.
- d. Where there is a charge for area code restrictions, provide the NRC Project Officer with the estimated cost to detem.ine whether this restriction should be installed.
- e. Telephone numbers are to be "non-published."
- f. Install RJ11 Jacks at locations designated for desk type ir.struments.
- g. Install RJ11W Jacks at locations designated fcr wall type instruments.

Vendor Responsibilities Include:
- a. Assurances that NRC receives the most cost effective service available.
- b. Provide 5 working days advance r.otice to Plant Security and the NRC Techr.ical Project Officcr for access to the TSC and/or EOF.
- c. If the on site cable distribution requirerents for the co=ercial lines

4.1 DIRECTIONS TO THE HADDAM NECK PLANT From North of the Plant From I-91, take Exit 225, Route 9 to the first traffic light in Middletown (Portland-Willimantic, Route 66 East) exit. Turn right at the light and as you approach the "Welcome to Middletown" rotary, bear right and proceed across the bridge to Portland. About two blocks after the bridge, Route 66
' East veers right.
Proceed on Route 66 East to Cobalt (approxirately 6 miles).
At the traffic light in Cobalt, turn right on Route 151.
Take Route 151 through Middle Haddam.
You will pass through one traffic light. About 2 miles further, you will come to a second traffic light that marks the entrance to Hurd State Park.
Continue on Route 151--do not turn into Hurd Park.
About
-one mile from the traffic light a larse sign, " Connecticut Yankee Energy Information Center," marks a right turn onto Haddam Neck Road. You will pass a church and a small housing development as you go down Haddam Neck Road. The road will lead down a long hill and at the bottom of the hill, bear left onto Injun Hollow Road.
Injun Hollow Road leads to the Haddam Neck Plant.
From Sou?.h of the Plant Take Route 9 North to Exit 7 (East Haddam-Moodus) exit. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp.
At the traffic light, turn right.
Go across the bridge past the Gelston House and Goodspeed Opera House and turn left onto Route 149 North for approximately 3 miles. Then, turn left again onto Route 151 North.
Continue for about 5 miles to a sign that marks a left turn onto Haddam Neck Road.
Follow Haddam Neck Road to Injun Hollow Road.
Injun Hollow Road leads to the Haddam Neck Plant.
