Gentlemen: Attached please find meteorological data for the period January 1 - June 30, 1986 for Fort St. Vrain, as was committed in Reference 1 (Table 4A). Please note that for the period January 1 through March 11, 1986, the PSC primary meteorological tower was out of service and data was obtained from the NOAA 10 meter backup tower located next to the PSC 60 meter tower. As no delta temperature measurements are possible from the backup tower, it was assumed that Stability Category "G" per Table 4B of RG 1.21 existed for the entire period from January 1 through March 11, 1986. This is conservative in that atmospheric dilution of radioactive material is minimized and the resultant calculated doses are maximized. 870205ggQ$$oo$267 DR A PDR t b.
