gy Office of Nuclear Material Safety {t and Safeguards SUBJECT; DIFFERING PROFESSIONAL VIEW PANEL This memorandum confirms my designation of the existing ad-hoc panel consisting of John Surmeier, Chairman, with Stuart Treby and Duane Schmidt as panel members, for the attached Differing Professional View (DPV) entitled " Recommendations on Ways to improve the Efficiency of NRC Regulation at IN SITU Leach Uranium Recovery Facilities." The employee who submitted this DPV has agreed to the use of this existing panel formed to review a DPV submitted by another employee on the related topic.
Your report addressing the review and recommendations of the attached DPV should be completed and provided to me within 30 days after the date of this memorandum.
