SUBJECT:- NRC ROUTINE, ANNOUNCED INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-128/99-201
Dear Dr. Russell:
This refers to the inspection conducted on June 8-10,1999, at your Nuclear Science
Center Reactor. The enclosed report presents the results of that inspection.
Various aspects of your reactor health physics and safeguards programs were inspected,

including selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with

personnel, and observations of the facility.
Based on the'results of this inspection, no safety concern or noncompliance with Nuclear
' Regulatory Commission (NRC) requirements was identified. No response to this letter is
required.
- In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter
and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
