Docket Nuclear 50-320; Station, EA-84-137Unit No. _2)l 3

C/v/cA

Dear George:

On Wednesday, Charles Barth telecopied to us an informal re-quest for copies of DOE agreements and contracts relating to shipment of damaged fuel from TMI-2, and in particular, the agreement with DOE referred to in John Barton's recent deposi-tion. We understand that you would like these documents right away. Although of little relevance to this proceeding, the fol-lowing documents responsive to your request are provided:

(1) Agreement in Principle - Acquisition of the Damaged TMI-2 Reactor Core by DOE (April 7, 1982);

(2) U.S. DOE Contract No. DE-CR01-83NE44477, Contract for Disposal of Spent Nuclear Fuel and/or High-level Radio-active Waste (June 27, 1983); and (3) U.-S. DOE Contract No. DE-SC06-84ID12355, Agreement for Transportation, Storage and Disposal Services for TMI-2 Reactor Core (March 20, 1984).

In addition, GPUN is also providing to you threee other documents that have come to light during our preparation in this case and that are perhaps encompassed by your First Request for the Production of Documents. They are:

(1) a memorandum from S..Babczak to B. Kanga and J. Barton,

" Meeting with Joe Chwastyk" (July 1, 1983);
