ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sample analysis results show that TMI site liquid effluents are in accordance with regulatory limits, NRC requirements, and the City of Lancaster t

Agreement.

THI water effluents are sampled from the station (Units 1 and 2) discharge and analyzed by EPA. Gama spectrum analyses of the seven daily composited samples for April 4 - 11, 1987 indicated no TMI-2 related radioactivity.

J EPA's gama spectrum analysis of the ARC's TMI outdoor air. sample for April 16 - 24, 1987 showed no reactor related radioactivity.

The water works for the City of Lancaster composited seven daily samples from April 5 - 11, 1987.

EPA's gama spectrum analysis of the composite sample showed no reacter related radioactivity.

Very little is presently known about the ccnditions in this area.

Auxiliary building sump desludging continues.

Thus far, three 160 cubic foot solidified containers have been generated.

The project is expecte.d to generate four centainers.

Robut desludging in the reactor building bascr.ent coiitinues. The dewatered sludge is being held in the ruodified spent resin storage tanks in the auxiliary building baserr.ent.

Robot scabbling in the seal injection valve rocia continued.
