SUBJECT:
DRAFT SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT FOR WNP Your memorandum of January 29, 1985 requested that a draft safety evaluation report for WNP-3 be provided to you by March 1,1985.
We have not received most of the responses to our questions (66% in electrical area, 45% in mechanical area). Therefore, we believe it is not worthwhile to develop a draft SER with such significantly insufficient information in PSB's review areas.
It is our understanding that at the present time no approved schedule exists for WNP-3. Should a SER be developed by PSB, the applicant must first be impressed by DL to submit adequate responses. On receipt of the required responses, PSB would establish SER input date.
We have discussed this with the PM.
