The purpose of this modification is to exercise Option Year Two of the contract in accordance I with Federal Acqu'isition Regulation Clause 52.217-9, entitled, " Option to Extend the term of the Contract," and Subsection F.5, entitled, " Duration of Contract Period." As a result of this '
action, the ceiling amount of this contract is increased by $204,892.00 from $825,314.00 to
$1,030,206.00.
Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
(1)
Under Subsection B.4 - CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION-DELIVERY ORDERS Paragraph a is deleted in its entirety and substituted in lieu thereof the following: l
" CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION - DELIVERY ORDERS l (JUN 1988) !
(a) The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for the products / services ordered, delivered, and accepted under this contract is $1,030,206.00. The ,

. The ordering period for this contract shall commence on August 28,1996, and will expire on August 27,2000. Any orders issued during this period shall be completed within the time specified in the order, unless otherwise specified herein. (See 52.216 Ordering.) The term of this contract may be extended at the option of the Govemment for an additional year."
