Pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(p), Georgia Power Company hereby submits a revision to the Physical Security Plan, including the Contingency Plan and the Training and Qualification Plan, for the E. I. Hatch Nuclear Power Plant.
Five copies are enclosed.
This submittal constitutes a
complete re-issue of the above documents, which have been reformatted in accordance with the guidelines of NUREG 0908, " Acceptance Criteria for the Evaluation of Nuclear Power Reactor Security Plans", dated August 1982.
The contents of this submittal were discussed in a meeting held February 23, 1987, between members of the GPC security organization and the NRC Region II staff.
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(p), we have determined that the enclosed revisions do not constitute a decrease in the safeguards effectiveness of the Plan.
It is our intent to place the revised plan and implementing procedures into effect at Plant Hatch on April 15, 1987.
