6 Per your request, I contacted Advanced Nuclear Fuels Corporation (ANFC)

(formerly Exxon Nuclear), Combustion Engi6eering (CE), General Electric (GE),

and Westinghouse by phone on January 20, 1987. CE, GE and Westinghouse use vacuum pumps only on their UF6 cold trap systems. ANFC does not use vacuum pumps for UF 6

. The oil in the vacuum pumps at the three licensees are "D0E-approved."
