In previous correspondence on this subject, Georgia Power Company described a potentially reportable condition involving AXDX deflection expansion fittings.

Through engineering evaluation, Georgia Power Company has deter-mined that the AXDX fittings used on Class IE conduits of the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant are adequate to withstand the vertical differen-tial settlement between structures durf ng a seismic event.

Therefore, Georgia Power Company has concluded that this condition is not reportable pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e) or 10 CFR 21.
