DESCRIPTION This safety evaluation was performed to evaluate a difference between STI-P35-001, Chemical and Radiochemical, Rev. 2,and the Section 14.2.12.2.1 and Table 14.2-2, Startup Tests.
STI-P35-001, Chemical and Radiochemical was changed to include Level 2 acceptance criteria on moisture carryover for testing performed in the Maximum Extended Operating Domain (MEOD).
Table 14.2-2 states that the Startup Test Instruction is performed at Test Conditions OV, HU, 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6.
The STI has been changed to add additional testing in the increased flow region at Test Condition 3 and in the extended load region at Test Condition 8.
FSAR Table 14.2-2 will be changed to indicate testing of Chemical and Radiochemical during Test Conditions OV, HU, 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8.
FSAR 14.2.12.2.1 does not list any specific Level 2 acceptance criteria. The STI has been changed to include Level 2 acceptance criteria on moisture carryover in the increased flow region of Test Condition 3 and the extended load region of Test Condition 8.
FSAR 14.2.12.2.1 will be changed to indicate testing of moisture carryover Level 2 acceptance criteria.
SSER 8 Section 15.1 approved operation in this extended operation domain for plant startup testing.
III.
SUMMARY
A change is required in Table 14.2-2 and FSAR 14.2.12.2.1 to reflect additional test conditions and acceptance criteria required for teating in the Maximum Extended Operation Domain (MEOD) to comply with the latest GE Test Specifications.

DESCRIPTION This safety cvaluation was performed to evaluate a difference between STI-B21-020, Steam Production, Rev. 2 and FSAR Table 14.2-12, Startup Tests.
FSAR Table 14.2-2 states that the Startup Test Instruction is performed in Test Condition 6.
The STI has been revised to schedule testing in Test Condition 8.
The initial conditions for this test have not changed.
FSAR Table 14.2-2 will be changed to indicate performance of the Steam Production test during Test Condition 8.
SSER 8 Section 15.1 approved operation in this extended operating domain for plant startup testing.
III.

FSAR Table 14.2-2 states that the Startup Test Instruction is performed at Test Conditions HU, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
The STI has been changed to schedule testing at Test Conditions HU, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
The testing in Test Condition 7 and 8 has been added to verify plant operating parameters in the extended operating domain.
FSAR Table 14.2-2 will be changed to indicate testing of the Feedwater Master Reactor Level Controller at Test Conditions HU, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

DESCRIPTION This safety evaluation was performed to evaluate the differences between STI-N31-024, Turbine Valve Surveillance, Rev. 2. and the FSAR Section 14.2.12.2.21 and Table 14.2-2, Startup Tests.
FSAR 14.2.12.2.21 states that valve testing will be perfomred at increasing power levels along the 100% load line. The Startup Test Instruction has been changed to include valve testing along the bounding licensed load line.
FSAR 14.2.12.2.21 will be changed to state that valve testing will be performed at increasing power levels along the 100% load line.and the bounding licensed load line.
FSAR Table 14.2-2 states that the Startup Test Instruction is performed at Test conditions 2, 5, and 6.
The STI has been changed to schedule testing at Test Condtions 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
FSAR Table 14.2-2 will be changed to indicate testing of the Turbine Valve Surveillance at Test Conditions 2, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

DESCRIPTION This safety evaluation was performed to evaluate the differences between STI-B33-029A, Recirculation Flow Control - Valve Position Loop, Rev. 2 and FSAR Figure 14.2-4.
FSAR Figure 14.2-4 defines Test Conditions 3 and 6 to be limited by 100% core flow. There is no defined region for Test Condition 8.
The STI has been changed to perform testing in the increased flow regions of Test Conditions 3 and 6 and the extended load region of Test Condition 8.
FSAR Figure 14.2-4 will be changed to reflect the extended regions as defined in the Maximum Extended Oparating Domain (MEOD).
SSER 8 Section 15.1 approved operation in this extended operating domain for plant startup testing.
III.
