Nelson Grace In previous correspondence on this subject, Georgia Power Company described a potentially reportable condition whereby, under certain conditions, the starting voltage for the four Train A containment cooling unit motors could fall below the minimum recommended value for Class 1E motors.
Subsequent to the initial notification to the USNRC of this condition, additional closely related concerns were identified and the engineering evaluation was expanded to consider these concerns as well.
Georgia Power Company has completed its evaluation and has concluded that none of the conditions are reportable pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e) or 10 CFR 21.
